THE ORGANIZATION
Upon getting more involved in her community, founder Kamryn Burton became increasingly aware of the large number of men, and comparatively small number of women, serving in leadership positions. Naturally, she furthered her education on the leadership gap and searched for ways to take action. She even wrote her Junior Exit Paper on the issue.
When her Girl Scout Troop began brainstorming for their Girl Scout Gold Awards, Kamryn immediately knew what issue she wanted to tackle. Shortly after, Girls Lead 2, Inc. was born on June 7, 2022 -- the rest is history.
